1 too many John.
For sure. It's not known who it was, but my money is on a propagandist trying to smear the protest. But in either case, the guy should be exposed and have a good talking to!
Even if you were a Nazi, if you supported the protest there's NO WAY you'd flaunt your Nazi flag!!! The only Nazis who would do so would be the ones who are pro-mandatory vax, which is a position quite compatible with Nazi authoritarianism.
BTW, if you can identify the guy with the nazi flag you can make $6,500!
Man. This infection just keeps on ticking. I ended up with the sore throat of a lifetime starting on Friday and while it has improved, its still there when eating and drinking at times. I thought I was good to go into work today but I started developing some concerning racing heart symptoms where I was getting lightheaded and almost had like an anxiety attack. Has anyone else experienced Omicron? I'm curious about others' symptoms and if people have heard of anything like that.

That really sucks. From all the people I know who had confirmed covid, it's either been similar to a common cold or on the extreme end like a bad flu, which obviously can get pretty severe if symptoms last for more than a few days. Normally you get the lightheadedness along with the lack of taste, sore throat, cough, and finally the phlegm attack. Severity and longevity of the symptoms depends on the severity of the illness of course (anecdotally, I've found you can shorten the longevity if you drink copious amounts of water). If you're really concerned or are developing anxiety attacks, I'd definitely still stay away from work for a few days if I were you.

I had severe lightheadedness back in 2020 along with other covid symptoms. Was not fun as it lasted about one week.

Do you remember when in 2020 that was? I was pretty sick in late Feb/early March 2020, and I recall many others were at the same time as well. Could have just been a flu bug that was going around but I'm not sure if it was covid or not since no one got tested back then. I also got pretty sick for about three days in Feb 2021 but never bothered to get tested. Either way I've always suspected one of those two times I had covid.

That sounds like covid, always interesing to hear how widespread the virus was before we even had many positive tests. Also thanks for the water-drinking anecdote in your previous post, I haven't been doing enough of that.

That one was late April into May.
From January to March I also had some sicknesses where I was sweating like crazy in bed (sporadically for those months) and generally felt weak, but no fevers. Very odd and it hasn't happened since. I did have a mild fever with the April/May sickness along with shortness of breath and heart pains. That must have been some form of covid. It is a vascular-acting virus after all, which also explains the lightheadedness and very cold feet (decreasing blood pressure).

And definitely no alcohol as it is a diuretic that can cause dehydration without sufficient water consumption . I learned my lesson with lack of water intake about 30 years ago when I had a cupla bouts with kidney stones, that was no fun, extreme pain. Been drinking lots of water ever since with no problems, although it didn't really help my gout,on medication for that. The trick is to make a habit of drinking lots of water throughout the day, waiting till you're thirsty doesn't work as it might never happen unless you play sports or eat salty food. And if someone is thirsty water is usually not their first choice. I've noticed that most people don't drink anywhere near enough water, I guess too many other beverage options out there. I know someone who absolutely detests water and would rather drink milk.

Wow. BC reports 18 deaths in 24 hours. Probably mostly older folks and immunocompromised. This variant is really starting to take people out.
