Moving along to the East..Calgary Snowsquall Warning tonight..H -13 tomorrow(tuesday). By Saturday..high of +13c :shock: :shock:

Found this video from early January 2009 in Port Moody. Snow banks all around Metro Vancouver at that time looked more like something you'd see going up to the north shore mountains or whistler!

It actually came pretty close to happening again here this last time, in fact. If the storms had tracked just a little differently, December could have easily been one for the record books.
I agree. I think some are already forgetting that most if not all of the Lower Mainland got 50-100 cm of snow over a course of two weeks. While we were maybe a tweak or two away from more, that's already fairly noteworthy in and of itself.

What is it called that shows us in different phases like 7 or 8 last month. l can't recall the name l don't follow it enough, what phase are we in now?

That's the MJO. I'm not sure what phase we're in right now.
