Unfortunately, long range models are trending away from the colder pattern for the end of the month. It could be that the models were just too quick with the pattern change and that models will trend colder for February. However, the latest Euro weeklies also backed off on any cold for February. Therefore, my confidence is decreasing that the cold will return to the PNW this winter. Hopefully we can at least get a warm and dry pattern if it doesn't get cold and snowy.

How can you afford a steak with all your roof repairs
Regardless you've gotta try this new beer to go along with it. Sold out when I tried to get some the other day

Nice
Usually pair my steaks with some cabernet but I may need an AR of beer with my wings Saturday!

We can also hope for a March 1951 or 2002 repeat.
No kidding. Some runs want to get that AK vortex going which would be very unusual come Feb. Some runs want to go with a 2015 super Nino pattern. Either way I have a feeling March and April will be cold Sh*t.

The weeklies still looked cold-ish for february. They've been good up until this recent pattern change.

I have a feeling that it may be late feb before things get cool. Seems like there is always a 2 month climate switch time lately. Never stays extreme for more than 3 weeks and takes at least a month to go the other way. Past winters always seem to be early or late cold but never both.
