EC has upped the ante to 5cm now..this is for Donut town Pitt Meadows..higher levels. Catnip is getting it again!!
I love how you come up with a different term to describe the sad lands every day
I’d really just rather have rain at this stage. If it’s not going to be cold and crisp and sparkly the allure is by now mostly lost. Would prefer the slush and ice all melted promptly.
What I want, and what I get. Two completely different things.

EC says 2–4 cm here.

Btw. Anyone know where to get salt? Lafarge tells me next shipment in mid February.
Bulk buy or just for personal use. I just got 100kg from Canadian tire here. They got 4 skids in today. I checked the Canadian tire in Abby. Says they have ice melt in stock. I have used it before. Little more expensive but works fine.
Also look at buying water softener salt. The Walmart here was sold out of driveway salt but had lots of water softener salt. It’s actually sometimes cheaper. And salt is salt. Works fine.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

CDN tire was out last night. Water softener to too big for spreaders and can be ankle sprain hazard.
