Careful what you wish for. Some models are bringing an atmospheric river with 100+mm of rain next Tues-Thurs.Wintergirl wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:11 pm Snow, so much snow we can't keep up, freezing rain now has caused issues all over the Hwy, cars in ditches, cars crashed into other cars, black ice everywhere, complete Sh*t show out there. Trees bent down from snow load and ice, our snow banks are 5 to 6 feet high now in the driveway and even higher up and down the road. Honestly as much as I love the snow we need a break here

I did not have "Still below freezing with freezing rain at 630pm" on the bingo card. I think I could skate on my driveway right now

I always go by calendar year to compare with the annual climate normals.
Here is the annual snowfall at YVR since 2009:
2009: 26.4cm
2010: 16.8cm
2011: 24.1cm
2012: 27.2cm
2013: 11.6cm
2014: 25.8cm
2015: T
2016: 28.4cm
2017: 43.4cm
2018: 25.8cm
2019: 31.2cm
2020: 45.4cm
2021: 49.3cm
Last 5 years..I'm seeing an upward trend. Global cooling?

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I was thinking this may happen. So much cold air lingering last 4 weeks. So tough to get rid of...watching that cold air trickle in yesterday was almost unbelievable. Trickled in, and the valley got really cold really fastwetcoast91 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:34 pm Crap.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
My temperature has cooled slightly but I am at 0.5c so the ice isn't accumulating.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!
