That’s starting to get into ice storm territory. Just nudged above freezing here, and I’m glad.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Yes, it was very windy last night!

ECMWF also showing the AR scenario Tues-Thursday taking aim on the Central Island/Sunshine Coast. 200+ mm for some parts of Vancouver Island. 100-150mm for Inland and Sunshine Coast. This may be very bad for locations with lots of snow depth (Squamish, Campbell River).

This is just in 24 hours. Hopefully the models trend away from this.

Bobcat is great for clearing snow, but a blade instead of a bucket would save me a lot of time!

I always found it very difficult to measure snow when we lived on the valley bottom during outflow events. I always tried to find the most sheltered place available but that isn’t always accurate either.

Nice to see everyone getting lots of action this winter! Hope the freezing rain isn't too bad in the valley today, I'll never forget the 2017 event when I was still living in Abby.

This is by far the most snow I've had on the ground since I've moved up here. 17 cm last night which just pushed me to 100 cm this winter, 68 cm which has fallen since December 24th without any melting. Just measured 53 cm on my patio furniture (may be a bit inaccurate due to wind). My driveway piles are as tall as me  .

I don't think we'll escape the flooding this time on the E. Island, with rising freezing levels and 16+ foot tides.

I'd say freezing drizzle.

Hard to say as I didn't go out early this morning and the snow has compacted since. I would say 12-14 cm maximum.
