By the way, thanks to Typer for the snow zone advice. It’s been nice to look up from my phone the past few days as I get near home and be struck by how much more snow there is here than Downtown.

No problem! In more classic winters like this where we get a more persistent stretch of cooler/snowy weather, the difference within the city is extremely noticeable between downtown and just a few km inland and/or at higher elevation.

How much more snow has Vancouver had than Halifax so far this season (I assume Vancouver has had more, given how torchy it has been back East).
