Yeah, the powder snowfalls sure were nicer to drive in.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:22 am So...another 10-25 cm call for the LM, but Vancouver cement snow instead of Okanagan champagne powder. Tomorrow morning's commute is going to be a war zone.

Wow. The 2 periods I was feeling this winter were mid to late December and mid to late January. Nice that the late December period has spilled over into early Januarystuffradio wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:05 am I saw this yesterday https://twitter.com/webberweather/statu ... 1155099651
He is basically agreeing with what the Weeklies were showing.

Looks like we may be done with AR's for the season. Ridging followed by some sort of continental dry cold pattern. Really tough to get AR's come mid Feb in a -ENSO state. Muted signals for any big active stormy pattern as well.
Of course I have now jinxed it.

No back to sleep for abit, resting for tonight's marathon tilt featuring spinarama flakes, end to end drive way shoveling and last but not least the sounds of nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah l've got more snow hey than you.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:37 am Did it wake you up or are you working overtime or did you just drink 2 pots of dark roast coffee?
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Sick of AR’s and we haven’t had a prolonged ridge this winter. We’re due for the latter.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:49 am Looks like we may be done with AR's for the season. Normally not a big fan of wintertime ridges but all the AR’s on October and November have made me desire one.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Models have sure trended wetter for latter Thursday into
Friday with a strong low to our south. Even if it was going to warm up it would have been nice to see the snow just transitioning to some dry weather. I feel like tomorrow is going to be miserable. Clearing snow in the pouring rain.

Speaking of snow removal. Our road has not been plowed once this winter.

Also, keep in mind that February is the driest of the wettest months of the year.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:49 am Looks like we may be done with AR's for the season.
