00Z EPS was a bit quicker in retrograding the ridge vs the 12Z.

Not sure about that, he cut back the Maple Ridge snow totals by 13cm so my guess is he isn't. Models like HRDPS agree. I don't know what the GFS is saying I didn't pay attention to it.

Could trend worse if we see tigher pressure gradients bring stronger outflow winds at the surface. Depends if that meandering low intensifies enough. Total wait and see right now.

Metro Van should be in the clear. Incoming airmass aloft is really mild and arctic air is shallow enough at the surface.
