Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Ridgevember was a bust for up here
Ridgeuary looks promising. However all this low level snow cover + strong inversion with very mild temps aloft= freezing fog in the mornings followed by thick afternoon fog.

I’ve been hoping for a ridge, and cold, foggy, inversiony, wintry ridges are my favourite kind.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 9:10 pm Ridgevember was a bust for up here

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I'm absolutely stunned at the magnitude of the arctic air penetration into the central valley blowing snow -6c @ the pond in south Sardis with a Cat 2.5 pant ripper outflow recieved 3cm this evening. I really only expected temps around -1c or -2c not a full blown arctic blast l'm just in shock.

Metro Vancouver will take all your snow off your hands. We have not had close to enough here so far.smartlikefox wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 9:16 pm Anyone else secretly hoping for this snowfall tomorrow night to bust or is it just me. Still have more then enough snow in Nanaimo.
