Well ...that was quite a night....left Chilliwack at 10.30PM for the states and it was white knuckling once I got of the highway in the Federal Way/Tacoma area. All the local roads were sheer ice, my 🚚 was sliding in every corner. Not a single salt-truck to be seen the whole night. Snow on the side of roads as far south as Olympia. Early this morning some heavy snow showers, Temps around 1-2°C

Feeling kind of sad as I probably won't be back until Thursday....

So people in Vancouver city are going to see a WSW for surrounding cities and go oh good nothing for us, that is too funny what a comedy of errors this last week.
Didn't there forecasting actually start out decent a week or so prior to the blast they were nailing the slushfests l thought pretty good.

And most people do not follow the forecast models like those of us here do. So there will be lots of people saying to themselves “I live in the city, and the warnings only cover outlying areas, so it won’t be too bad here.”
It's called clown range for a reason.

I am getting some mix snow/rain in Newton. I see the arctic air reached the Sumas border.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!
