Thats not bad...another victory for Bby Mtn! Considering most others got maybe 1cm max, many places just rain or mix, with wet pavement

I don't think I have ever seen the HRDPS this snowy. It will push a foot of snoby the time it's done.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Really seems to have been a fairly uniform snowfall throughout the city proper last night. There's even a slushy cm on the ground here in Gastown.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Ended up with close to 8cm overnight. Amounts decreased substantially as you drive down the hill though.

I'm in East Abbotsford, it's above freezing here, I got about 1cm of slushy snow last night - temp was barely above freezing when I cleared it this morning. No sign of winds or cold air coming in.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Down in town (Duncan) and they have about 2cm that melted and then froze solid. A good 1.5-2cm of sold ice on the sidewalks. Couldn’t shovel it. Just layed down salt and ice melt and moved on.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
The thaw-freeze-thaw from the past few weeks did some damage to the roof right near the ridge and also split my downspouts.
