That's what I was thinking , but not according to the gasbuddy guy.
"McTeague has stated that the current drop in fuel prices is attributed to unstable economic conditions around the globe". As Gretzky once said, "that's a crock of crap".
I was joking, sort of. I just found it funny because both Jason Kenney and Andrew Wilkinson were blaming John Horgan for the high gas prices last month. Then Horgan said he'd look into ways to lower prices, and now prices are down.
I don't honestly believe that anything Horgan did had any effect on prices one way or the other. It's just hilarious to watch all of the politics around the issue.
McTeague can be informative sometimes but he has a pretty strong bias toward the oil industry, so I take him with a grain of salt.

How long was the line up Abby Sr.?
I don't know, I haven't been there recently, but the lineup is usually 6-8 cars deep at every pump. Luckily the line moves pretty quickly most of the time. I usually only go there if I'm going to save at least 5 cents, otherwise not worth the trouble.

Horgan didn't do anything. He doesn't have that kind of influence.

Horgan launched BC Inquiry on gas prices , maybe fuel companies are shaking in their boots? Apparently Montreal has the same amount of taxes on gas ,
and yet their prices are 30 cents less. So what gives? I dont trust that Mcteague guy from gasbuddy.

I highly doubt they would be scared of an inquiry.
Bought gas for $1.19!! at the chevron by bradner rd on Fraser hwy , and yet the gas was 10-15 cents higher in the heart of Abbotsford. What gives?
That stretch on Fraser hwy always has the cheapest gas prices, and I'm pretty sure that's still Abbotsford, not Langley.
Yes sorry this is a repeat from the main board.

Costco has that beat at 117.9.
But yeah, Fraser Highway - the stretch east of downtown Aldergrove - is usually the cheapest spot for non-Costco members. In Abbotsford proper, the cheapest stations are usually on Maclure Rd., which I see are currently matching the stations on Fraser.
The stations in central and south Abbotsford love to inflate their prices to catch people coming off the freeway.
Forget about the 13 cent discrepancy, how about the 18 cent hike overnight just in time for the long weekend ! What a joke , thought maybe the inquiry would put a bit of a scare in the gas companies, apparently not, they just do whatever they want.
Tuesday afternoon gas was 126.9 here in Chilliwack then Wednesday morning gas was up to 144.9 here in Chilliwack then in the afternoon I was in Abby/Mission and gas was 139.9 then when I got back to Chilliwack later in the evening gas was down to 137.9

That kinda fluctuation should be illegal. There is NO reason for it.
Yup I know I think there's been only a couple of weeks it stayed the same but basically it's up and down usually within a few day's lately.

Wow, gas prices are insane again! 148.9 in most of Abbotsford... seeing as high as 161.9 in Vancouver. Haven't seen it that high since May!
Ya , isn't summer over? When prices are usually at their highest? What a joke , no rhyme or reason with any of it.
