Just had a brief hail storm in South Surrey. Now mixed with what appears to be huge snow/ice crystals of some sort, almost loonie sized. Still 5C according to my car.

Now it looks like it’s just settled into wet snow. There was a very small heavy cell that appeared to be moving east along the border that must’ve gone right over me.

This looks like one of those cases where it could snow anywhere..usually dependent in cell size and precip Intensity. Rain showers when light precip..snow when heavy precip. Throw in some hail or graupel into the mix.
Unstable. I love the variety. Esp when someone gets hammmmered wth a heavy snow shower
