That way you get a feel for what's coming instead of all the guessing.

That's true Rubes as much as l've enjoyed this event the plus side is getting back to some kind of normalcy where it doesn't feel like l'm driving around with ice skates on.

 @wintergirl
Do you live in the snowy part of squamish or rainy part? I'm sure further north and hilly areas get more snow than those near Howe Sound.
Looks like EC has saved ur back..giving you more a mixed bag most of this week now :alert:

Even all the way out in Hope its sitting mostly between 2.3c to 3.7c since 8am last night, with rain. Very sad location imo..how then can so often get rain there in marginal set ups. :dunno:

Is that a cream pie?

Felt like that a lot more often up here than I expected tbh. This year has been better though.

Well, the flakes are smaller now. Slush accumulating.

Mark Madryga mentioned temps may actually fall abit today as he said very cold air aloft will drag down temps in heavier precip.

SouthSardiswx wrote: Mon Jan 03, 2022 7:03 am There's a couple of theories that did come to fruition that we're mentioned, last year one was it seems whenever we get a decent AR event in November it's usually followed by an Arctic blast at some point. Well we blew that one out of the water big time and the other was the Christmas to New Years Arctic blast over the years quite often l've seen this time period as being wintery, truth to these or just a coincidence.?
I now have zero doubt the rain train is almost necessary to get us towards an arctic outbreak. The other main precursor being a stratospheric warming event.

The NBM is bullish on the next snowstorm this week. 15-30cm depending on where you are from Wednesday to Friday.
