A rare night post for me. -19c in PG on the way to the airport. Iam hoping to bring the cold air with me back to Surrey.

The 6z :14clown: range has retrogression at the end, not bad. Hopefully get the arctic air back after that.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

The snow is blowing at the airport, it is just bitter out there, blizzard except without snow falling.

Heard Mark Madryga this morning on Global he sounded kinda excited, he said wide spread snowfall Wednesday night into Thursday with accumulations, as that system will draw in colder air. I need it to score some more cm on Gumpers. :hockey:

There's a couple of theories that did come to fruition that we're mentioned, last year one was it seems whenever we get a decent AR event in November it's usually followed by an Arctic blast at some point. Well we blew that one out of the water big time and the other was the Christmas to New Years Arctic blast over the years quite often l've seen this time period as being wintery, truth to these or just a coincidence.?

Nice to see Bronze Bear (demoted from golden status) for being late the the Arctic blast party and C79 back from his tropical extravaganza on the tropical threads.
I must say l've missed his outstanding synopsis reads that he posts l was hoping he'd do some during our Arctic blast.

It's possible Rubes however remember after the 3rd day the outlook is computer generated up here which is absolutely ridiculous l do like NWS Seattle with there forecast synopsis reads l wish we had something like that.
That way you get a feel for what's coming instead of all the guessing.

On the plus side, by this afternoon even the side streets should be substantially free of ice and slush, meaning I will be back on my bicycle.
