Could have picked up some ice on the sensor, depending on location they are exposed underneath so something probably kicked up there's crap on the roads right now.Hound wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 8:38 pm Something odd going on out there.
Just got home from south Surrey.
On the drive, south Surrey was -7, then down on the farmland the temp dropped to -14!! I thought something was wrong with my car sensor. Keep going north, then in Cloverdale the temp showed -8, then back to the flats and the temp went back down to -10, up the hill into Fleetwood the temp settles at -8 all the way back to my place. Car reading matched both my home thermometers. So what the heck was -14 between 32nd ave and Highway 10.
Current -8.6
DP: -12

Down to -8.3°C. Another -10 before daybreak seems likely.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Awesome!!! Do we have a thread for songs? I know it was mentioned and it would be fun to be ble to read them again.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 8:11 pm Miss Creeker , you write songs too? You are a genius
Yesterday
I saw the snow blowing off the trees
But it was very fine and sparkled in the breeze
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly,
I've never seen anything like it before
It was magical and beautiful
Oh, yesterday came suddenly
Why it had to go,
I don't know it wouldn't say
I couldn't capture that on film
Now i long for yesterday.
I'm not a song writer but do dabble (good word VanCity ) with writing.
