I have a feeling this may be BC's next state of emergency.

No gradual melt anytime soon. You worry what a potential AR event would do to that region.
Great is this for real!! Nooooo! My house is already surrounded by snow everywhere yikes

Shovel as much snow away from the surrounding foundation. Ensure there is a clear path to the drains.

Good news is the areas higher up could see a gradual melt! :dancepine:

Getting a few flakes of snow, very few and blue sky

Going to clear the driveway while it's still light and fluffy. This is fun snow, so easy to move.

It is so refreshing to see Nito grasping to day 10 maps for his pineapples.

Having said that it will warm up. I'm still holding out hope for an inversion pattern to follow.

Abby usually warms up (See donut hole) while the Wack often gets hammered with snow. Seen this story too many times before. :shh:
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Apparently we're only supposed to take hour 240 maps seriously when it shows warmth and ridging ;)

We have done that, however the one drain around property is not working so the water floods into garage....temporarily have put up a plywood wall against house so the water from plugged ice gutters repells off plywood into yard for NOW. Will continue my work tomorrow morning around house. When do you think the snow starts or becomes heaviest as in accumulates fast???
