So odd, growing up in the 90s, every single cold snap and snow event came and went, but 2008 was the start of bizzare weather full of surprises. I think snow events in general have been far more interesting in the 21st century.

Not according to my friend he said he had 25 cm and for the same again but was just eyeballing it. That seems like a lot but still a lot more than my 14 new.

That's pretty good combined snowfall at the pond in south Sardis l have 25cm on the ground including Christmas day storm, some has compacted of course.

25cm storm total in Sechelt? That's pretty crazy. More than anywhere in the lower mainland.

It does seem like your area often under performs compared to other parts of the sunshine coast, snowfall-wise. :(

Yes but it also gets less rain and wind than Gibsons and Langdale so it's not all bad. :D

And we have a winter storm watch now issued for Metro Vancouver, and the entire Fraser valley. :clap: Wpro said there would be one the legend continues.
