YVR is a large, open field. Less UHI effect.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I'm lurking. I got a new phone and for whatever reason can't recover my old password been trying for awhile. Dug out my old phone to be able to post now. We got another 8cm here from about 430ish- through the night no idea when the heavy stuff stopped its still light flurries currently. Total since Xmas eve for my area anyways has been 28ish cms. Give or take a cm lol my neighbor did a good deed by clearing my snow measuring area. 🤪🤦‍♀️

Models often underestimate how tenacious cold air at the surface can be, particularly for the eastern Fraser Valley. Delayed warm-up followed by a major ice storm?
