Lost Lake (smallest) freezes first, then Mundy Lake, and Lafarge and Como usually freeze at the same time.
Lafarge hasn't been around for a long time though (used to be a gravel pit) so before the '90s it was just the three other lakes.

Re: December 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Finally cleared up last night and I also got down to -15.5
It's been a very long time since I've seen a temp like that! Other than -18 the date Abby_wx mentioned earlier when he lived in my area.
Current: -11.2
DP: 16
Amazing!
I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get a better snow depth. Taking a look around south of Bellingham to Seattle they got some decent amounts of snow.
Then there is Nanaimo! What the heck did they do to deserve all that?? LOL!
We should have done better with 30cm covering the entire LM.
Some of the snow evaporated last night as well.

Re: December 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
Of course I know that, but my point is the first temperature colder than today is -16.1°C, also in Dec. 1968.

Yeah an ever so slight bummer. Still hard to complain though it's beautiful out there.Hound wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 12:36 pm Finally cleared up last night and I also got down to -15.5
