And with clearing the nights would be a lot cooler as well. The blob is likely a contributing factor to our increased humidity and warm nights this year however persistent cloudcover is also not helping.

Any sign of ridging to end Sept is gone on the 18z. Shows a cold trough with NW flow to end the month. Showers and highs struggling to top 12C

Looks similar to last year's weather on October 1. This is what I got to experience north of Revelstoke.

I should have gone to Prince Rupert yesterday! it rained all day here. In fact, it's been raining steady for two days now. Not heavy coastal rain, just light drizzle. Up to 24 mm for the storm and 15.7 yesterday.

Too bad North Vancouver isn't on there. It definitely rained more than 1.6mm here yesterday...
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

The next 2 weeks doesn't seem all that bad , good enough to get some more outdoor activities in before the arrival of Sir Wetcoast.

23.4 mm in Pitt Meadows and 2.6 mm in West Van. Calculate your distance between each spot to determine your rainfall amount.

Also, 50 mm in Agassiz, so let's do the math...

38.88 km from West Van to Pitt Meadows. That's 0.56 mm per km from West Van. Measure your distance from there, and multiply by 0.56. Add 2.6.

68 km from Pitt Meadows to Agassiz. That makes 0.39 mm per km. Do the math if you're between those two spots.
