By far. There were many trees that snapped or uprooted, some blocking roads.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

That's pretty impressive for normally dry Bellingham (at least relatively speaking). It's been wet here but nothing close to that... 26 mm since midnight.

41.6mm since midnight here in south Sardis. Jr. could have his readings on wunderground if he purchased the internet bridge or the Acurite access, I believe it costs 179.00cdn but then you would have your readings at your finger tips on your pc and cell phone. Much cheaper to go with Ecowitt or Ambient weather products with the built in wifi. Which reminds me I should broadcast to Weatherunderground as well.

The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Just noticed the low temp at YXX today was set at 11am, mostly due in part to the prolonged heavy showers you guys had over there.
Also first time since 2013 at YXX that any of the first 15 days of Sept failed to drop below 10C.

Had another brief shower here, which put me over 2mm. Sun is out now. Victoria had a lot more rain than we did here last night. That is fairly unusual

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes, the AcuRite Access is the accessory I was referring too. I agree, for remote monitoring, it would have been cheaper to go with Ecowitt or Ambient weather products. Even AcuRite makes stations that have remote monitoring, around the price of the AcuRite remote monitoring accessory itself. The problem is that most if not all of those stations have specific mounting requirements that would not be suitable for my townhome complex. This is the downside of strata units and not having your own standalone home on your own property. There is like no way I'd be able to convince my strata to let me mount a weather station on our roof and we don't have enough yard space to mount it on a pole outside. Thus, I was limited on what I could purchase. Regardless, my AcuRite mini station works well but I do think their remote monitoring unit is way overpriced. Just looked, its $159 on Amazon.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 2:40 pm 41.6mm since midnight here in south Sardis. Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Rumble of thunder and downpour...and I can see blue sky too.
Measured the water in one of the buckets, it was empty before all this rain started and as of last night there was 2 1/2 inches in there!

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Some pockets of clearing tonight. Certain areas could see their first sub 10C lows of the month

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Any ridge this time of year would be really nice to have. I'd take it (and lower dews) over this humid crap.
