For Abby senior it's Abbotsford weather.com, or if you meant my station I haven't registered with Weatherunderground yet.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Yup, same here. The wind came up really suddenly, but died down just as fast.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 9:17 pm 15.4mm here in south Sardis I had a wind gust of 37kmh just before the rain stopped.

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Models are showing Saturday nights front intensifying as it crosses the south coast. When that happens we often see a bit of a lag in the timing of it shifting thru and south of us. 20-40mm seems like a reasonable expectation at this point.

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I was listening to CBC the other day and the lady from Victoria called in from Victoria stating that Victoria is so awesome because Vancouver gets 2 and a half times the precipitation.
Gawd I hate it when people exaggerate the weather.
1200mm/2.5 = 480. That's Vernon level, not Victoria!

Re: September 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The driest part of Victoria is probably 600-650mm range. So closer to 1/2 of what Vancouver gets. Probably 1/3 or less of the wetter parts of the lower mainlandGlacier wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 11:25 am I was listening to CBC the other day and the lady from Victoria called in from Victoria stating that Victoria is so awesome because Vancouver gets 2 and a half times the precipitation.
