29.99 for a roasted chicken? Get bent!
Nice to see all the greenery has been watered. Even though it hasn't been a scorching hot summer, it's been relatively dry.

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
1. After a quick start to the wildfire season in western Canada, activity has leveled off in recent weeks due to cooler and wetter weather. However, the fire season is far from done, and based on our current fall outlook (warmer and drier than normal first half of fall), we believe there may be a second surge in fire activity during the month of September from British Columbia to Saskatchewan. This pattern may also lead to more widespread smoke and hazy conditions across the western half of the country.
2. Main storm track this fall will be directed into northern British Columbia, but this will also feed mild, Pacific air into much of the West as well, which may lead to a week or so delay in the annual freeze for many locations. The snow season in the Rockies is also expected to get off to a slower start later this fall.

Pretty good chance offshore flow surfaces during the middle of next week. Could lead to the highest temperatures of the summer in some inland areas.

I wasn’t paying attention but the last 2 gfs runs showed a couple mm’s this morning. 1.3mm fell here.

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Kinda crappy summer for sun lovers. But I will take it. Hot sunny and relentless dry spells is not wetcoast weather. The mixed bag summer knocked down the temps nicely. Yessss.

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Looking at the mean temps, this August is running slightly warmer than August of last year.

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Picked up 3.8mm of rainfall out here in Sardis today and once the sun came out got up to 20.5c my readings seem accurate which is fantastic! I've checked my temp reading against my north facing thermometer and my rain gauge against my manual gauge.
