Re: July 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Not much happening here and hasn't for awhile, you and Sheriff Goose need to move to white rock, other than the coolish/average temps I'd say it's been a fairly decent summer so far.

No, thank you. I love Coquitlam and I don't like very much the southwestern part of Metro Vancouver. I need to see giant trees and forests...Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 12:35 pm Not much happening here and hasn't for awhile, you and Sheriff Goose need to move to white rock, other than the coolish/average temps I'd say it's been a fairly decent summer so far.
Finally, 38.3 mm here and 42.0 mm in Burke Mountain.

I probably recorded more than that in less than one hour earlier.
We had monsoon like rains this morning in Coquitlam.

So now that you've been here for awhile how do you like it compared to Quebec? And you lived in a small town in Quebec, no?

Honestly, the average on 30 years in this place (as on my place) is probably higher than that.
Port Moody Glenayre has a normal of 60.7 mm and this place is definitely drier.

I like BC much more than QC, no question about that. It is much more beautiful. People are nicer too...So now that you've been here for awhile how do you like it compared to Quebec? And you lived in a small town in Quebec, no?
But keep in mind the most beautiful country in the world is... France, obviously. You should look at the Tour de France to be convinced.
In QC, I lived in the suburbs of Quebec City.

I like the way my wife's relatives from England say "the South of France " In an elegant manner with a heavy English accentCanada Goose wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 7:04 pm

As a young kid I used to live on esplanade street in Montreal , right across the street from the main park in front of mount royal mountain. A lot of fond winter memories skating and playing hockey at the outdoor rinks at the park.
I used to climb onto those lion statues every chance I had

Re: July 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
While that rings true, over 30mm in a single day in July certainly is not normal.Canada Goose wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 7:00 pm Honestly, the average on 30 years in this place (as on my place) is probably higher than that.
