Back when gas was cheaper I used to drive a 3500 Chevy flat deck with a 454cu (7.4l), it got 25l/100 km. It'd take about 50 l to get to Otter Coop and back, $80 these days, but it would cruise up the cut in North Van with 1 ton of hay on like it was empty, I could even be out in the fast lane and not hold anyone up. Great times with that truck.
