Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Given low enough temperatures and/or a high enough precipitation rate, I would not worry about it. During last year's Solstice Surprise, temps went from well in excess of 10ËšC to sticking snow in the course of six hours or so.
It's called clown range for a reason.
