Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I saw that ugly ass image in my downloads folder and decided to mess around. I think Its a good reminder of just how crap this year has been. Late January fail, February let down, driest spring on record, destroy our previous record high, another 40 C heatwave, followed by this Atmospheric train of ****. Hopefully something good comes our way before its over.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
An extended period of amplified heights over the Western CONUS would not be the worst thing to happen this December. This would really be favourable to the crew doing the repairs on the #1 and #5 while drying out the slopes.PortKells wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:25 pm I saw that ugly ass image in my downloads folder and decided to mess around. The last thing we need is an extended freeze which would actually cause more landslides.

These should be taken with a grain of salt as 1950 and 2008 will pop up In a given period during Nov-Jan. 1950 kept popping up last year and we all know how that turned out
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

When was the last time we had an extended period of amplified heights over the Western CONUS during a La Nina.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:30 pm An extended period of amplified heights over the Western CONUS would not be the worst thing to happen this December. I just spent 2 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, trying to figure out how I could be reading that map so wrong that it was calling for 100F. Didn't bother checking the date...
