Man, major props to those pilots. Not easy holding a chopper steady in the gusting wind and eddies off the mountains.

I JUST got power back.

This is insane.

I have a friend who was driving home from Kitimat yesterday and got screwed by highway one closure. So he detoured to Merritt to stay with mutual friends of ours. Obviously we know Merritt is now having some *issues*. It's crazy out there!

I'm choked, my rain gauge stopped working. I need to get it down and see what's wrong but I can't get up there so I have to wait for my husband to get home so he can climb up. I'm hoping it's just stopped up with leaves but I don't understand why it's not recording ANY data at all in regards to rain.

Is it a Davis Station? If it’s showing 0.00 it could just be blocked with leaves or bird shiit. It it’s showing no data or a bunch of dashed lines than the gauge probably isn’t transmitting.

My temp and humidity sensors died last week on mine. Replacement sensors look pretty affordable
