(Hi everyone good to be back...under unfortunate circumstances)

HOLY CRAP OUR PROVINCE IS GETTING SCREWED!!!!!!!!

I have never seen such destruction this is going to get so much worse. I feel awful for the people of merrit.

8,000 people being evacuated, low vaccination rates, all heading to shelters. Anyone want to take a guess? Awful awful

Very detailed and sharp backline approaching...very strong winds are coming in the next hour. Potentially 90+km/hr sustained...this will undoubtedly result in downed trees and power loss.

Hwy 99 now closed just south of Lillooet. Mudslide reported but it sounds like it happened right near a steep slope.

South Coast is now completely cut off from the Interior.

90km/hr sustained?

I'd say 40-50km/hr here, we usually don't get impacted too badly from westerlies.

Yup, this solidifies the fact BC is NOT prepared in ANY way for the Earthquake. It will be a disaster of untold heights. Unacceptable!
