At least Lougheed Highway is still open.
Though I have a feeling the Hatzic-Dewdney-Deroche stretch could flood.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Wow! Lots of carnage. It's not bad here, went to Gibsons this morning, a couple of big puddles on the road, Sechelt this afternoon, one big puddle much better than the last AR where the highway had a couple of streams crossing it.
4 pm and the rain has stopped and the radar looks like we're done for the foreseeable future.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Ha, a beach under water.. non issue. Most of the localized flooding isn't flooding, it is just the drains are plugged with leaves. A real flooding is like what we see in the Valley where roads are under water due to flooding fields and overflowing ditches. So much over dramatic posts on twitter.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 4:13 pm Jericho Beach is also under water

I saw some posts on twitter that the people were being so dramatic and I've had more water in my shower than their photos. LOL!
Nobody in Metro Vancouver knows what real disaster looks like.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
LOL true, I just found it funny because the implication is that the rain is falling so fast, even a beach can't drain into the ocean quickly enough.Hound wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 4:25 pm Ha, a beach under water.. non issue.
