The westerly flow is really favouring the valley and orographically favoured upslope areas this morning. Heavy rain spreads everywhere later as that developing wave offshore draws in even deeper subtropical moisture

19 mm yesterday

Was able to catch a brief lull this morning to grab some beer for football but damn there’s huge puddles already around my neighborhood. Some of my roads are kinda flooded.

It’s absolutely pouring. Stormwater pond beyond my house is getting close to overflowing, I haven’t seen anything like this since I moved here in 2008. How this keeps up until tomorrow morning is beyond me.

Raining catnips , hounds , sardines , hawks, flamingos , and Canada gooses ,no escaping the onslaught, not the sunshine coast, not even the the Sunny scalene triangle of Ladner, Tsawwassen and White Rock.
I'm sure there's several lakes forming and growing in the Cloverdale flatlands between the Nicomekl river and highway 10. Das is good , they will turn to ice rinks in a couple of weeks. :)

See if it’s going to rain at least be heavy and close to or record breaking like this. The misty crap is what gets annoying.
