Compared to weatherbell it's night and day. Just the layout for one, user unfriendly, way less choices. It's not on the same planet IMO.

Saturday wasn't supposed to be wet, but it still looks like we could see significant amounts of rain on Sunday and potentially into early Monday as well.

We better get rewarded because this is just becoming way too much rain. I just read the November 1990 stats and they are similar to this month.

November 1995 was another big one. In terms of persistent rainfall and total amounts.

Doesn't look too nasty today for Canada's game in Edmonton thankfully. Partly cloudy and 1c at kickoff.

75-125mm in 48hrs is something Coquitlam (especially northern areas) typically sees about 2-4 days per year on average I'd say.

Anything more than that is definitely starting to get into more rarified territory. With all the rain we've already seen coupled with the melting snowpack at higher elevations, we'll see flooding along many of the local creeks at lower elevations and the Coquitlam river if the predicted amounts on that map come to fruition.

Get pumped!

Yeah the weather factor might not be too noticeable tonight. If anything it'll probably just slow the game down which I don't know if that's in our favour.

Here are some records since 2014 in Coquitlam-Burke Mountain:

24h: 140.8 mm
12h: 91.3 mm
6h: 63.5 mm

For November:

24h: 137.3 mm
12h: 89.8 mm
6h: 56.8 mm
