I get more excited about thunderstorms than snow at this point because it has been so long since a GOOD storm! I hope the border force field isn't in affect right now!

Latest SREFPlumes forecast slightly reduces thunderstorm risk but increases the ensemble amount of precipitation to almost 50mm of rain.

Severe thunderstorm watch just issued for the fraser valley from Chilliwack east (jinxed)
3:45 PM PDT Wednesday 26 June 2019
Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for:
•Fraser Valley - central including Chilliwack
•Fraser Valley - east including Hope
An area of thunderstorms south of the international border is moving northward and is expected to reach southwestern interior, the Central and East Fraser Valley early this evening. These thunderstorms may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Fruck with Luongo's retirement today there goes the Knucks salary cap the Knucks must pay some stupid re capture penalty of 3 mil. for the next 3 seasons and they told Hutton and to take a walk yesterday so much for July 1st frenzy.

Radar currently looks interesting east of Abby. Large swath of heavy precip moving west off the cascades into the north puget sound too.

Looks and feels like onshore flow is kicking in. Not generally a great sign if we want to see storms in the lowlands. I think best chances are going to be over the mountains as usual.
