Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Well Tbar just think starting tomorrow the models will be out an hour early.
When we all await the late evening models only to go to bed disappointed that it's always 10 days away or the drunken uncle model that show's up day after day,
hang on to your rug it could a fun ride or not.

The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Until some cold air builds up north that we can tap into I wouldn’t expect anything cold down here.

We were actually eating outside on our covered deck…Dunbar area. Lots of rain and wind, but didn’t see lightning or anything like the UBC winds. We had guests so I wasn’t watching the news, and I was completely oblivious to the waterspout at UBC.

I was taking an afternoon nap when the waterspout and tornado hit. Never got worse than moderately breezy here.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Been drier than expected this weekend. Even seeing some sunbreaks right now. The best dynamics for instability are offshore today.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
November 2006 has been mentioned on the American forums with regards to the mid month colder period modelled.
They seriously need to lower their expectations. A chilly period shows up in the clown range and then they start comparing it to the top tier analogs. This happens year after year and of course the event rarely lives up to the hype.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Yeah its a toxic habit to do that and get people all riled up only to come crashing down when reality bites. Yes we post optimistic maps sometimes but I think most people here understand the difference between eye candy and expectations.AbbyJr wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 11:52 am November 2006 has been mentioned on the American forums with regards to the mid month colder period modelled.
