I've lost alot of interest in the CFL in recent years, I'll watch some lions games but never any other CFL games. Lions looking alot like the Canucks, mediocre. To be honest I'm finding NHL hockey kinda boring lately as well. Way too much emphasize on defensive systems , too much shot blocking, too much back checking therefore not many odd man rushes,and goalies are too big with oversized equipment. When is the last time you saw someone breaking down the wing and scoring on a slap shot? Exactly, it has gone the way of the dodo bird, although JT Miller still tries the odd time . Todays Players in general are faster and have more skill but there's something missing. Now if every team had a Mcdavid then the excitement level would definitely increase,at least for me anyways. I don't watch much of the other NHL games, unless I'm in a hockey pool, that tends to make it a little more interesting.

I have to agree, Hockey can be a bit boring now. I also think 82 games is just way to much. This would never happen but if they cut the season down to 60 games it would be more exciting. You would see teams actually putting more effort in from the start of the season. There wouldn’t be as many boring games. Over a 82 game stretch you can see when teams are tired and honestly there’s quite a few games you can fall asleep to.

I just threw that in to say how rare it is for ANY team to do what st.louis did,in other words they can't afford to get behind the 8 ball this early in the season .

Can't quite figure out if you're a canucks fan or not from your last statement, I thought you weren't.

I’m a LA kings fan but I’m always going to root for the Canucks to do good. I was born here and been to many Canucks game so it’s good for the city when they do good. I just have to be blunt tho because a lot of Canucks fan are biased and will defend Benning. I just can’t defend the management in Vancouver.

Watched the full Travis Hamonic statement today thought it was forth coming l respect the guy glad he's back.
Tyler Motte is back as well at practice love his feistiness maybe afew games away.
Not sure about Brandon Sutter seems injury prone every year.

Sutter has long term Covid issues. He has extreme tiredness he probably won’t come back this year if I had to guess.

What a beast Demko was last night against the Rangers, he definitely won one for our Gumper.
That 5 on 3 for the Rangers it looked liked the keystone cops. with Demko doing his best Orca impersonation.

As a d-man I take offense to the idea I'm supposed to play defense.

Actually in seriousness I had a game last night and let me rant for a second. So I play left side, but when my regular right side partner is away I have to shift over and play right side with a guy who literally backs in the goalie on almost every rush. It makes me confused but also the play who scores is usually my "check" but I have no idea what to do because The 3 on 2 invariably turns into a 1 on 0. But who ends up looking like a defensively incompetent moron? me.

However I have no right to say anything as I smoked my teammate with a point shot last night, straight in the head. The puck was rolling but I had all day to wind up and I still managed to shank it.

Accidents happen! But I understand what you mean it’s a horrible feeling.

Thank you! We been playing together for years and it’s a competitive division everyone wants to win and make the playoffs and win it all, So we take it pretty serious. We have practices once a week as well so it’s cool.
Hopefully you can get a goal next game !
