Kristi Gordon goofed her 4p.m. segment on NW she said were dealing with 6 thunderstorms, she meant systems.

Long range signals showing mild and wet through mid month. This will undoubtedly average out with ridging at the end of this cycle

I’m now settled into my short-term rental for the month of November. Hopefully I can work the same sort of magic for Vancouver that I worked for Bellingham last February (got buried, while spots even 10 km to the north got mostly skunked, such was the location of the northern edge of the storm track). Of course, it will probably happen around the end of the month when I move into my long-term rental.
Welcome to the place I just left. :whistley: :smirky:

I highly recommend Nickels Bakery on Lonsdale. Can't go wrong with anything there, especially their inexpensive donuts. I miss it. Nice Polish babushka there. :shh:

Also, The Gull is probably the best liquor store on the north shore, if you drink.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Typeing3 wrote: Wed Nov 03, 2021 1:53 pm From a statistical standpoint, it was incredible. Nothing else in the period of record even comes close.

If we're looking for any type of equivalent to the late June 2021 heatwave in terms of cold, I'd say the only one would be the late Jan/early Feb 1893 arctic blast: https://climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_d ... me=Agassiz
Oh yeah from that standpoint it was amazing and something that goes down in history. Everything came together perfect but I honestly wouldn’t want to go through that again.

Y’all don’t like her ? Lol I actually think she’s pretty good. Everyone makes the odd mistake with grammar when you do it everyday for years. Everyone makes small mistakes at there job nothing wrong with that. She’s usually accurate and I like her breakdowns.
