We actually got flurries at my workplace in East Van last October.

I got slush around the 19th or 20th in East Maple Ridge in 2012 I think it was.

This "heavy rain" is pretty showery. Mostly just light rain, but it'll get moderate or heavy for a few minutes every so often. 23 mm so far today.

AR is mostly aimed towards Western WA. Hence why temps are slightly cooler up here too. Its +5 and rain in Hope.

It's been raining all day in the Okanagan. Still on track to being the driest year on record though.

Had a little sleet here in north Bellingham last October. It woke me up when it fell, and there was still some in the roof valleys at dawn.

I even got snow at my place on Bainbridge Island (30 m elevation, surrounded by salt water) on those days. What made it freaky is that it hadn’t been particularly cold or wet until well into October. Basically, the fall rains started then bam, first snow.

No idea how I forgot that, Last 2 years been a blur with Covid lol

Yeah that honestly was really cool at least for me to see in early November. I don’t remember ever seeing snow that early in Richmond.
