Rain looks like it holds off until Sunday morning for the most part.

I don't even know how they got into the picture as I was standing to their immediate left, I wasn't expecting the sun to be in the picture either. But it turned out pretty good.

 it would have been one for Global's weather window minus the couple and their lunch bag full of pineapples and peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

The plan would be Christmas. We spent 2 weeks there in August after our 2 week camping trip hitting Merritt, Revelstoke, Banff, Jasper and Edmonton (not camping). Below are some pictures from the trip.

BTW 24" plus precipitation forecasted on the GFS for Prince Rupert next 16 days. Quite a bit!

First picture is golfing in Vanderhoof after a thunder shower passed over. 2nd is mountain biking in Vanderhoof, 3rd is mountain biking at Tunnel Mountain in Banff, 4th is from mountain biking in Merritt and last is the Athabasca Icefield. We lucked out with really nice blue sky while Vancouver had the hot smoke that day.

No guarantees of a 1996/97 repeat but I like the similarities in the atmospheric state. 8-)
