And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing?

I don't even know how they got into the picture as I was standing to their immediate left, I wasn't expecting the sun to be in the picture either. But it turned out pretty good.

it would have been one for Global's weather window minus the couple and their lunch bag full of pineapples and peanut butter and jam sandwiches.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:26 am I don't even know how they got into the picture as I was standing to their immediate left, I wasn't expecting the sun to be in the picture either. Re: September Forecasts And Discussions
The plan would be Christmas. We spent 2 weeks there in August after our 2 week camping trip hitting Merritt, Revelstoke, Banff, Jasper and Edmonton (not camping). Below are some pictures from the trip.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:42 am Nice to see you back Ty my man, any Vanderhoof trips planned this winter.
BTW 24" plus precipitation forecasted on the GFS for Prince Rupert next 16 days. Quite a bit!
First picture is golfing in Vanderhoof after a thunder shower passed over. 2nd is mountain biking in Vanderhoof, 3rd is mountain biking at Tunnel Mountain in Banff, 4th is from mountain biking in Merritt and last is the Athabasca Icefield. We lucked out with really nice blue sky while Vancouver had the hot smoke that day.

Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

No guarantees of a 1996/97 repeat but I like the similarities in the atmospheric state.
