Here's the latest SREFPlumes. Basically 50+mm for Vancouver.

We had an early, hot summer. Maybe now an early, wet autumn? First major storm incoming looks like an Oct/Nov soaker. It looks like we are actually around 3-4 weeks ahead of the usual patterns for around 2 months now running. Lets keep it going boys and girls. :lurk:
Lets start winter this year early too for the natural hatrick! :shh:

I'd say it's possible. CAPE values peak above 300 in the Vancouver area that day.

On Sunday, CAPE values peak just above 500 here.

It seems like yesterday it was 40c and we were dying for rain. Finally a real rain storm is coming! YAY! Fun!
My low last night was 6c. I left my window open and the chilly air came in feeling so good!

I haven't been able to organize it with the owner yet, so thank you for asking but no, not yet.

Any guesses for a dry day next week? Or are we all going to be washed into the ocean by then.

Rainfall warning up now. EC is calling for 50 - 70 mm for Sechelt and 60 km/h winds. I thought it was going to be aa full weekend of rain but Sat and Sun are showers.

Overall pretty seasonal and not too wet after today. I’ll take it.
