Re: Covid Pandemic
More that he probably grew up in a generation of fear mongering over a natural plant that's been smoked and used for Millenia. It's a drug, any drug can be addictive including things like caffeine and sugar that we use daily and sell to kids. But I don't blame John or anyone who grew up in previous generations. Unfortunately the media and government lied about it and the damage won't be undone quickly.

I can't see any type of smoke entering your lungs being good for you. Maybe putting some Marijuana leaves in your arugula salad is different.PortKells wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 2:33 pm More that he probably grew up in a generation of fear mongering over a natural plant that's been smoked and used for Millenia. Same here, but when I tried the 2nd time it was like laughing gas , lieutenant Dan and I went into McDonald's and couldn't stop laughing while ordering, we laughed at everything and everyone, and that's all I have to say about that. And yes the munchies is definitely a thing.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 11:07 pm John's in denial l tried it once never did anything for me to be honest.

Re: Covid Pandemic
Fair point. I haven't seen any major studies showing elevated risk of lung problems but if you smoke as much as I've seen some people do it surprises me there aren't more issues.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 3:18 pm I can't see any type of smoke entering your lungs being good for you. Re: Covid Pandemic
I heard that on the radio. Also heard this snippet..
"Cannabis users were more likely to be male, unmarried, cigarette as well as e-cigarette smokers and heavy alcohol drinkers, the data showed"

Weed101 doesn't fit that profile IMO.

Re: Covid Pandemic
I know three nurses who have quit or been let go this week because they didn't want the vaccine. The only male nurse I know has 1 day left. And hospitals are already short staffed even before Covid.
note: I didn't make this graphic, and so not agreeing with anyone who says there isn't a surge.

Yeah, our hospitals have suffered from a chronic under staffing problem for decades.Glacier wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 4:42 pm I know three nurses who have quit or been let go this week because they didn't want the vaccine. Wasn't there also a wave of nurses who quit just before or as the lockdown began due to covid fears too? I know that was a massive problem in LTC, especially in Ontario and Quebec.
