It really is looking very bad now. News about new variants almost every day, the spike protein is changing meaning the current vaccines will be ineffective. I'm not sure western economies can sustain this forever. We needed a comprehensive global effort and instead got capitalism, aka the vaccines being patented.

Welp Kells we as a society could have licked this more or less to the point this virus would have been more of a nuisance going forward but such as life greed, selfishness has ruined it for those that followed medical guidelines to protect ourselves and others.

Here's a couple of comments I came across

We should stop calling it a vaccine. FDA rules state that a vaccine must have a 12 month efficacy before approval. What Phizer et al are making, apart from big money, needs boosters every few months. Thus, not a vaccine.

Maybe a third tier should be developed in society. Tier one “people that have had covid “ 6-7 times the power of 2 Pfizer shots . They are top tier and can be free . Tier 2 people that have had the vaccine. And tier 3 the “others” the ones the government wants to crush . Full of people that are white, black , jewish etc . Like some of the similar leaders in the thirties and forties , round them up and put them in “covid retraining camps” where we force them to be reprogramed to follow our way of life . The ones that don’t fall in line we destroy financially all while telling them its their choice ? Sounds wonderful? Sounds like true Canadian values eh ?

Thank you John. those were utterly disgusting IMO. What do the healthcare workers have to do with this other than saving and helping people. Blocking ambulances, spitting at and assaulting people. That kind of behaviour is not gaining any support for that cause.

Agreed, the leaders/organizers of the protests should have their heads examined for choosing hospitals as a protest site.
