Although l haven't been attacked too much this year, yes Anter why are they still thriving in mid August.
It's not like we've had flooded fields out here in the central valley.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

The question is whether or not the ridge remains mostly offshore. If it moves over BC, then we are in for another heat wave.

My guess as well. We will likely see it trending east over BC on the models in the next few days.

And if we stay in this pattern mostly through fall/winter. :?
Unfortunately it'll be an inversion fest.

You know growing up in Vancouver, summer was memorable. Events around town, vacation get aways with no smoke it was fun.
Now it's absolutely depressing how can you get away from smoke and there's no events to enjoy anymore.

Still at my friends’ place. Marine push has vastly improved air quality here in Seattle this morning. It’s coming…
It's called clown range for a reason.

You tell em Nito! We are likely stuck in RaR #patternlock for the usual 2 month period which puts us stuck with the heat into early Sept or so. Also, have you ever considered moving slightly NE to the Similkameens? A little smokier out there tho
