Past few days it didn't clear much at all but burnt off soon after I posted today. Was quite hazy; most likely due to the smoke from the north

Re: May 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Last 2 days had barely any burn off of the marine cloud but today was nice by 1:30 PM. I think tomorrow is supposed to burn off even earlier. Even still, temps are above average and I can't say it feels like gloom. The 2 cloudier days were still bright enough and warm enough to not be depressing. Spring and summer 2011...now THAT is what I call depressing.

Is the haze reaching the island? Been pretty nasty here.
No marine layer today, and a bit less haze, thankfully.

The sky above me looks nice and blue but it does look more hazy to the East and North.

It’s been hazy for sure but it has been slowly improving. It was quite thick on Tuesday, could barely see the mountains to the west here that morning.

Still here, been busy with other things and not much to report...it's been warm and sunny, sometimes a bit cloudy, sometimes a bit wet...so not much to report.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2019 5:24 pm Gimpy seems to have disappeared like Hawker and Ms. Creeker.

Re: May 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Actually my golf game is coming along , had my best score this year the other day, 94, at Pagoda ridge. Hoping to get it down into the 80's , similar to the summer temps in sardineland.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 12:57 am Glad to hear Ms. Creeker so is finding your plants kinda like Gumps golf game the ball ends up in 3 to 4 feet of grass most of the time. my high on Friday was 26c out here in corn field city, the breeze was awesome it was not boiling hot just perfect no low clouds but hazy again.

Re: May 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Why does Cliff Mass keep saying it’s going to be a wetter than normal summer, when NOAA, Brett Anderson etc suggest it’s going to be hot/dry? Where lies the disagreement?

Re: May 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Long range forecasting is such a crapshoot when it comes to precip especially in the summer. I haven’t read his reasoning but I have seen a few others suggesting we may see more rain this summer. My personal thought are a warm dry summer but I doubt we see the extreme dryness of some of the seasons the past few years.
