Those kind of rug pulls only happen when significant snow and/or cold is involved and sometimes for heatwaves too. :cry:

Actually rug pulls have happened for average/moderate temperatures during summers many times. I can remember heatwaves coming into view fairly abruptly. It's just not as memorable as something significant disappearing from the models.

I guess it depends on what you remember. I recall many heatwaves getting watered down in years past.
