Isn't that the Manning park fire? the one John was referring to? Isn't on our side of the border. And you can see the small pyro culumus cloud l snapped a photo of.
I could be wrong but I think the one furthest west is burning just south of the border with the smoke cloud reaching elevation on our side of the border.
The Tremont creek fire is absolutely roaring this evening

Tons of smoke entrenched in the valleys of southeast BC... gets worse the further west you travel.
Continuing to travel west on highway 3 tomorrow and will pass through the West Kootenay, Boundary and Similkameen regions where the smoke is probably even worse in the valleys.
Stunning shots T3 especially Kootenay pass, man l would of taken a dip in that lake.
So refreshing looking 3rd pic is absolutely gross. Fire now south of Manning park so you'll see that smoke heard on the news Hope slide is horrible as far as smoke is concerned.

O.k. wasn't sure that map you posted looks like there's a fire just on our side of the border.

I'll be staying in Princeton tomorrow night hopefully we don't see too many new fires start with that thunderstorm risk from tomorrow thru Monday across the Similkameen and Okanagan.

Awesome, been enjoying the T3 trip from beginning to almost end and l haven't once asked to stop for a potty break.
Of course if you took Hounderdog you'd have to stop at every fire hydrant.
