Not bad for the interior.

Not much lightning on the Euro either during that time period.

I like the idea of rain almost in the middle of the heatwave like a couple of GFS runs have shown. When is the last time that happened?

00Z Euro. I'm glad the interior is seeing some rain, even if it does miss us.

So, my family hasn't been together since 2018, since before my Dad was rendered a quadriplegic. Then came Covid. I am FINALLY due to see my family on August 7th when I host a BBQ at my house. I hardly ever get to host any kind of get-together as most of my family either lives far away or we were having 2 years of pure hell wondering whether my Dad would survive or not. Yet, he is due to celebrate his 70th birthday and I have the honour of having his birthday BBQ at my house- where he has not been able to visit since his spinal cord injury in 2018. We have rented a wheelchair van for the occasion in order to get him to my house. It's a big deal. The whole thing is a big dang deal to me and my family.

That all being said...is it TOO MUCH TO ASK THAT AUGUST 7th NOT BE THE DAY IT RAINS?!!! C'mon now!!!! You have GOT to be kidding me.

I don't care if it rains for 2 weeks straight. I don't care if it rains any other day. I don't care if it rains on every other August 7th for the rest of all time until the sun goes Supernova or a black hole swallows the earth. Just PLEASE CAN I HAVE THIS ONE DAY.

00Z Euro ends up handling the cut off low much like the GFS. Hmmm.

With the cut off low hanging around, it could be wet. However, it is 10 days away and things will change.

It's nice to see the weather cooperating. I like all the green, hopefully it keeps showing up on the models...maybe just a day later though to accommodate Leighbugs. :D

Same for the Sunshine Coast, and they bumped the temp up from 29 to 31. Yuk, oh, well, it'll be a breeze as compared to the last heat wave and the nights are cool so it'll be easy to cool the house down.

Any chance we might have a thunder storm as it changes from hot to rainy?
