Same can be said about our winters too? Last winters Nina was a total bust out :shh:
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

Doesnt this get the same temps as Princeton though?
No, usually a degree and some cooler being that it's 200m higher.

Its normal to have at least one good heat wave usually from mid to late July until about mid August. I'd be shocked it we didn't have at least 1 or 2 more given that's normal. But I also think that August is going to turn showery and troughy at some point probably mid to late month. The pattern can't last forever.

Yup. Above average temperatures for the foreseeable future is a lock. However, some models and runs indicate we could hit or exceed 30C next weekend. Nothing compared to the heat wave just endured, but the low 30's possible.

Anyone know why Grand Forks isn't reporting right now?

Could be sensor failure, l wouldn't be surprised in the heat we just went through or just an outage.
Goes to show Antman nothing replaces a manned weather station.

Yeah same here. It would be nice to just relax the rest of summer with temps in the 18 to 25 degree range.

Sure if you live @ YVR maybe Anthead.
Seems weird seeing a forecast still for Lytton but l guess one still needs to be issued for the area once traffic resumes through the Canyon.
I know l'll shed a tear next time we pass through the area.

Almost midnight and 21.6c in south Sardis seems chilly after what we went through earlier this week,
Still mild though under normal circumstances.

Looks like a fairly run of the mill summer extended warm spell. With nights remaining relatively cool it won't get uncomfortable.

Will also be interesting to see if we see our typical 4-6 week summer dry spell since we missed out last year. Seems likely at this point.

I think the standard is to locate such things a minimum of twice the height of the building away from it, so yes, way too close.
It's called clown range for a reason.

The GFS literally repeats the 40C+ heatwave. Luckily it's probably overdone. No support...yet
